In 2012, Agata Norek won 1st place in the Augsburger Medienpreis competition for the promotion of the city of Augsburg (Germany).

The competition involved creating a modern interpretation of the archaic symbol of the city of Augsburg, the pine cone.

Agata Norek used fluorescent plexiglass to create a modern version of the city's coat of arms. By combining two elements of the pine cones and placing them on flexible, plastic rods, she created a design resembling a flower. In this way, the pine cone fits into the character of modern interiors and meets the tastes of the contemporary audience.
